Other Info and Full Description

 

This is a gorgeous signed Akuchi tanto by Nagasone Nyudo Okisato with matching gold mounts in full polish. Unpapered, comes with plain shirasaya and cloth casing. I believe it is a gimei blade. Bought in the early 1990's late 1980's from Bob Lightener out of Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Thank you for the messages. I have tested the habaki, with my gold tester and it came out as 22kt. Of course, it is not solid, has a copper underlay. The koshaire is silver. The scabbard as well, as you can see has tons of silver and is back to it's tarnished look now. I thank you for your interest and insights.
