jason c Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 Looking to buy a good quality nihonto from 16 - 1800s. Preferably with a signature and certificate, i know this is hard to find but that is what i would be looking for. Price range about 900 - 2 or 3000 (but not confined to). Thank you. Quote
C0D Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 Do you have a specific blade you're looking for or any good nihonto will do? I have a papered hirazukuri wakizashi well in that range Quote
raaay Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 Jason , ask the members of the Irish Token Society if they have anything, it will preassembly save you worrying about import duties etc. !! 1 Quote
Ed Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 Being more specific in regards to what you want will help. Your request is very vague. They are not that hard to find, I have many that meet your general criteria. Specifics such as any absolute requests for Katana only, or are wakizashi & tanto ok? Is Koshirae a must or is shirasaya ok? Are papers an absolute? Any absolute preferences on who issued the certificate, NBTHK, NTHK, NTHK-NPO, Kajihara, etc.? 1 Quote

I have a Koto Nihonto in Ebi Koshirae that is in new polish. It has a very active Hamon and beautiful mounts Quote
