Kurikata
Hi Jake I definitively recognize the O Kanji for King or Emperor. But what is the other one ?
OceanoNox
I thought it might be East 東, as seen here: http://codh.rois.ac....nsho/unicode/U+6771/ The writing style is Seal script, tenshotai 篆書体. The kanji for king 王 can look like this: http://codh.rois.ac....nsho/unicode/U+738B/
Kurikata
Thank you so much Arnaud! King of East ! If someone has some information on a tale related to this King, please tell me who he is! Anyway, might be : Jikokuten (持國天), or Dhṛtarāṣṭra in Sanskrit, is a guardian deity with fierce expression that protects the east of Buddha's realm. He is associated with the color white. In China, he is regarded as being harmonious and compassionate, using his pipa to play music in order to convert others to Buddhism. In Japan, his statues mostly carry a sword. He is also the leader of the Gandharvas, the celestial musicians and messengers. His name means "he who upholds the realm/nation."
