Hi guys I’m asking on behalf of a friend who’s interested in buying this sword  if anyone can translate this mei it would be greatly appreciated apologies for the poor photo.

 Gifu – “Sukenori” (祐則), real name Nagata Eiichi (永田栄一), born 28 August,  Meiji 43 (1910).   From Seki and registered as a Seki smith Showa 16 (1941) September 12.

Hi Bruce the photos are quite poor but I couldn’t see any stamps but he’s going to have another look so I will get him to check

the guys telling him it’s traditionally made.
