Triptych identification help

I've been framing a few woodblock prints lately and with the information I get when I buy them I can normally research the subject matter and the artists.i have this print and i cannot find anything about it im thinking my information could be wrong.i would appreciate any help with this castle under siege akido is all ive got theres writing on the back that ive not seen on any others thanks paul

WOWWW! How did these Edo Period ukiyo-e artists achieve that incredible silhouette effect?

I envy you Piers, as probably you can still obtain nice woodblock prints at reasonable prices in Japan. I did have a few years ago, but alas they were destroyed in a fire along with my library. :(

There used to be a shop in Camden Passage in London that sold prints, and where I bought a few. Unfortunately the lady who owned the shop was from Nagasaki, and wouldn't have anything sword related in the shop.
