You would think the larege pic of the signature on this tsuba would be read fairly easily but what is clear is 'Yamashiro no Kuni Junin...', after that on the left facing it is unclear. I don't know if others can read it but I see 'tada' 'mune'. Maybe a better pic. John

Yamashiro no Kuni Junin Umetada Munemasa. Something at the end. John

It is on the tsuba and means 'An inhabitant of Yamashiro province Umetada (family) Munemasa' It should have 'saku' as the final kanji meaning 'made', but, it is strangely written if that is the kanji. John
