I consider to get a new saya and sword polish from this shop, but would like to know, if they are good at their craft.

Has anyone experience with them?

I see forward to get an answer.

Be  careful!

First Question to you : What kind of sword do you have ?

A Chinese "wannabeejapanesesword" ? ......no problem , go on .

Ask them for references for their work. So pictures that were taken before and after the work was done.

Or do you own a antique Japanese sword , signed and papered by the NBTHK, a value pice of Japanese history ?

In this case you should get in contact with a serious Agent who let the work done in Japan by experience craftmen how know there job.

That's my two cent.

Thank you for your answer.
Do you know any reputable Saya maker or polisher in Europe, who are still active today?

The following information about the sword:
Nagasa: 60.8 cm
Sori: ~1 cm
Nakago: 15cm
Mumei

The Tsuka and Tsuka Ito were made by me, because the old Tsuka was damaged beyond repair and it was without Kashira and Menuki.
The sword has no NBTHK papers or other papers.
I bought this sword from an estate, so I guess the papers were either thrown away by the heirs or lost.
Because of this, I don't know how to classify the sword, as the size is right between Wakizashi and Uchigatana.
I was told on Reddit, that it probably is a Katateuchi from the Muromachi period or a Kodachi.
However, I am too unqualified to determine what it really is.

I don't know if polishing this sword makes financially sense.

But I definitely want a new Saya to protect it.

If their are no Saya makers in Europe i will craft one myself.

In the Google drive link are pictures of my sword.
By the way, the Tsuka is the first one I ever made
