Hello everybody,

I really enjoy to read you, and I wondered , if you would help me, to understand what's written on the tang and if you let me know , what do you think of this katana I've bought recently. It's the only one I own. But I 'm not educated in nihon-to or Japanese hand crafting.

Do you have any better pictures of the MEI on the tang? It's not quite clear and the photo is relatively low resolution.

Yes the tang is this one.

Also the style of the whole item seems a bit odd and sophisticated to me, but I'm not a specialist by far..so far..

This one katana sugest more questions than answers to me .

Ah.. ok . , I agree your feeling. Perhaps a form of  script ?

Is there a chance to see a fake signature? I bought it 3000€ , but no Japanese  certification, only a certificate of an expert with government agreement . I hope it remains an interesting item..(?)
