I'm trying to get some expert opinions of this sword, it's likely a knockoff but thought I could get some insight from the pros here. It's a nice looking Wakizashi, but seems too good to be true. P5.thumb.jpg.465c6afcfc02d6d672834a6dcdb93aa3.jpgP4.thumb.jpg.521cd95d59e3e11e8ad28761e451cf2f.jpgP3.thumb.jpg.824d0a9ee9fb45bbca010fac8fb7859d.jpgP2.thumb.jpg.cea322dcd1061dd9b60b004b4c28509c.jpgP1.thumb.jpg.cc691b485d9963e42c013ba44663f37a.jpg

Ron, you sir are correct. The listing ended but it caught my eye for a second.  Even with NBTHK should these listings be avoided?

At least in this case they had the foresight to place a blade on a suitable surface to photograph it...when I see their photos with the blades on the floor I feel indignant...gimei or not, quality or not but an ORIGINAL piece deserves however respect... you can expect this from a person unaware of this world, but from a professional seller definitely not.

Hi,

Depends, sometimes he sells nice swords with recent/new NBTHK papers. I think these are legit and worth biding if you are interested.

Also, he has a very nice offer of Nihonto-alike training swords.
