Sudo Kunitsugu is a smith from the side branch of the Iruka school in Kishu. Although strongly influenced by his Yamato Tegai roots, he had also been trained in the Soshu Tradition. This is an ubu-mumei wakizashi from Kunitsugu. It is relatively healthy with ample mi-haba and kasane. It is an interesting piece for someone who is fond of Yamato Tradition.

I have sold swords on here before, so nothing fishy here

Things came up and I need cash and hence the price

In terms of photos that lonely planet mentioned, I don’t have a dedicated camera nor a professional setup so there’s a limit as to what I can do. If anyone has request for specific photos please message me directly, I will try my best to meet your demand.

Just a heads up that both sword are in fairly old polish. Kaneharu’s polish looks like it’s from the Taisho Era (1912-1926) or earlier and the Kunitsugu is about post war.  So both of them probably have 50-year-old+ polish. I am not sure more photos will make a change

Payment is PayPal F&F only

Shipping will be EMS by default for oversea, and local NA will be regular expedited.

I can ship it with FedEx or UPS if requested, but we all know why we don’t use them.
