Hi, I recently got a new nihonto that has some rust spots and black rust on it's mune. I would like to know any recommend polisher that you would usually turn to if needed. A website link to the polisher if they have any is welcomed Thanks for any information/suggestions

Not to hijack but this raises interesting question; how many trained polishers are there worldwide?  It seems like anyone with any type of reputation has a wait list measured in years, how long can one expect to wait for a polish on a decent quality blade e.g nice mumei Shinto or a gendaito (assume able to use habaki but new shirasaya these days?

When you have a good reputation, then your work is in good demand. Its a problem through out all trades. Wait for good work or take a gamble and tryone with a short list" normally for a reason ".

Nihon, your in Singapore. You’re not that far from Japan. Do your homework and search the net . You will find different grades of polishers advertising. When you find one , look for reviews of his work. Obviously it depends on how valuable and hopefully it’s a genuine  sword worth spending the money on .
