Hello All,

Just wondering if you are aware of any sword collecting clubs in the Detroit, Michigan or Toledo, Ohio area. It would be great to connect with some local folks with the same interest in Japanese swords.

Thanks,

Bob

I live near Toledo.   I am usually at the Novi Antique Arms show and also Livonia and Perrsyburg shows (unless they conflict with a sword show).  Stop by may table and say hello, maybe we have met?   Maybe we could plan a small "get together- show and tell" etc at one of the shows?

Hi Mark,

We have met. You sold me a wakizashi many moons ago at one of the military shows.
when will the next show be?  I’ll try to stop by. The Chicago show was crazy. Every time I went by you were busy.

thanks,

Bob

Not aware of any clubs, but there is a great show in Chicago each April.

Have you been to the military collectibles shows in Novi, Livonia, or Toledo? There are usually Japanese swords there.

Thank you. I went to the Chicago show for the first time this year. Very impressive. I’ll keep my eyes open for these military shows.

Mark! Conway!

I'm almost insulted that you didn't mention the Indiana Token Kai!  :)

We have our meetings every third Saturday of every month (unless a holiday intervenes), from 10am to 2pm at the Morgan County Library in downtown Martinsville, IN.

Message me if you have additional questions!
