Hi

I'm trying to register for the next NBTHK meeting in Solingen Germany next month. Sent an email to info@nbthk.eu a week ago but never received a response. Is the group normally so slow at responding to emails? Is there another way to register?

Are you a NBTHK member ? If not, don't be surprised if you don't get an answer.

No not a member but the site clearly wants to encourage new participants who they hope will become paid up members. Attendance is via email confirmation and open to non members (for a fee, but waived if you're a noob). Therefore I would expect a response.

Please be patient: the NBTHK EB is a group of ethusiasts, NOT a commercial organisation with a permanently occupied secretary unit. They all do their regulary work and maybe sometimes unavailiable for a short time.

Any polite inquiery will receive a polite answer, it just may take some time.

Best

Sent you a PM and also what Andreas said above. I think pretty much all groups would be really happy to get new enthusiasts and potentially members as this is such a minor hobby.

Yes, it did cross my mind that this is a fairly informal group which is why I waited a week before posting here. No followup emails have been sent but I did send one Mr Kremers earlier today. I'll wait a few more days and then followup with Jussi's suggestion. There is still plenty of time until the 20th.

btw is it possible to take swords to these events with prior agreement?

Hello HB,

You can ask these Question , about bringing swords to the meeting, Mr. Kremers directly, please.

Asking here is useless.

The theme for the next meeting will be " Swords of the Soshu Tradition" and the influence on later and other schools.

We will see swords fit to this theme.

In the Kodogu part will the theme " Animals"

Since you will be attending this meeting as a guest, I suggest you simply visit us and enjoy the meeting.
