Sellers from Japan no longer sending to UK

I have noticed a couple of Japanese sellers I have used before are no longer accepting orders from the UK due problems will Royal Mail. Anyone else noticed this ?

Yes, it's a thing. They have their preferred shippers and if that happens to be EMS then the UK is now persona non grata. Did you ask if alternative carriers were available or were they saying it was a blanket embargo?

They have just stopped shipping to the UK..no other options.

Aoi art said they are using Fedx and UPS instead of EMS, 

 

That was a week ago they said that.

 

Other firms may find a way, should they try.

You can ship them to me and pick them up yourself if you want, but I'm not sure you can get on the eurostar with a sword or if you have to do some actual smuggling....
