Oil produces a lifeless hamon, lacking nie and activities. Usually a nioi hamon. Can have hada, but unusual to have a well done hada on something that was mass produced/oil quenched. 1 Quote

Expand Most of them. Almost ALL the Nihonto in SA were polished by one old guy who passed away many years ago. Or one newer guy who loved Ferric. I've held plenty. If it wasn't for the trips to the USA and Japan, they would have been in the majority sadly. Quote
