Bamboo Tsuba: modern made or an old one?

Hello,

I would like to hear your opinion on this tsuba. Is it an original Japanese tsuba from the edo period or rather a modern tsuba for iaitos?

I have not yet found a comparable bamboo tsuba. Maybe this one is also from manufacturers like paul chen, citadel...

The tsuba is well made, looks good and I think the signature is Hidefusa 英房? But there is a number 400 stamped on it.

I also find remnants of green glue in Nakago ana. That makes me doubt it.

If the number is a production run, there must be at least 399 more such tsuba. :-)

I look forward to your comments.

Tsuba has some very nice 3D carving plus fine detail work in the leaves, including insect nibbles on the edges.  Pity about the stamped numbers.

Thank you all very much. Now I have no more doubts about this tsuba and I can easily remove the glue without any damage. Chris, can you give me the signature of your tsuba?
