US Army Infantry Collection: Guadalcanal Capture, Translation Assistance

Here is another one from the Infantry collection. Most of these will have to be shared via an Imgur link.

This particular sword was captured on Guadalcanal by the 35th Infantry Regiment.

Real name: 北川 勝一 (don't know the English on this)

 

Looks like the larger Seki stamp at the top.

 

Sesko lists 1 Katusnori, but it's not the same one, I don't think.

For complete transparency, these are not my swords. These belong to the National Infantry Museum in Columbus, Georgia. However, they often refer to the collection as the “people’s collection”.
