「古青江貞次(こあおえさだつぐ)」刀剣鑑賞が100倍楽しくなる動画!

Japanese sword Ko-Aoe Sadatsugu

The Aoe school, which emerged in the late Heian period in Bizen Province's Aoe, produced works until the period of the Northern and Southern Courts.
Among these, those dating back to the mid-Kamakura period are referred to as "Ko-Aoe" (Old Aoe), and this work by Sadatsugu is highly renowned as a representative swordsmith of Ko-Aoe.
Additionally, it is said that when Emperor Go-Toba gathered swordsmiths from across the country in Kyoto for monthly sword forging, Sadatsugu was also summoned, indicating the exceptionally high skill of Sadatsugu as a swordsmith.

I think Aoe is in Bitchu province, adjacent to Bizen.

There are generational issues in Aoe Sadatsugu. Sesko lists two in 1184-1227, i.e., ko-Aoe, and three more later.

The video would be more interesting if I understood spoken Japanese...
