Sellers who remove auctions at the end because it's not what they thought it should bring?

Understood if it's a fine piece.

This would have have of given a few hours distraction from current trolls.

Sucker for big tsuba that need TLC.

Good morning Stephen,

Hope you’re having a peaceful Sunday.

I have ran into this a couple times over the past year or so, as well.

While I do not typically buy on auction sites in Japan or eBay, I have also encountered where I bid—with a few days remaining—no activity and then at the last minute, there is a flurry of activity driving the price up considerably from buyers with no or very little past purchase/buying history/seller ratings…..

A part of me thinks they are shill bidding…but in good faith just keep on rolling.

Same with this this morning, running under $50 until a hour before end.

I went at it slow 1000y at a time auto bid higher amount I know what the seller was doing, got out at $120 wasn't going to play his tit for tat, pluse I was way over where I felt comfortable bidding.

Five minutes later got notice auction withdrawn.

Occasionally you'll get a good deal.
