Two hitsu ana. rare set of daisho (set of tsuba for long and short swords) from Kaneuji of the Aizu-Shōami school in the late Edo period. Sho: Iron, tatemaru-gata tsuba with matching image of willows and phoenix in gold inlay. A well-preserved daisho tsuba set, signed, and without significant damage, or wear. It is somewhat uncommon to find a signed set of daisho tsuba, as many sets were broken up and sold off individually. This set, signed, and with matching images, will be interesting for any collector of samurai memorabilia.
