If you choose ONE sword maker NOT to ask if the mei is genuine, then Sukesada is that one. There are hundreds. It is the worst choice for a beginner to buy, because probably 80% are average or low quality smiths, and telling them apart is next to impossible. Unless you are looking at one of the top Sukesada smiths (and this isn't one of them) then trying to determine if the mei is shoshin or not is pointless. Gimei of which one? Shoshin of which of the many Sukesadas?
Personally, I wouldn't invest much money in unknown Sukesadas, but maybe that is just me. Unless the work stands out and it is in good polish, it is going to be a dead end.
