Just wanted to post a quick and very heartfelt thanks to those folks who have renewed their Gold membership recently. (https://www.militaria.co.za/nmb/subscriptions/)
We have lost a few collectors who are pursuing other hobbies, and some Gold members who are finding things a bit tight (as is understandable) and are unable to renew. This forms most of the contributions towards running this site in the past few months and while things aren't bleak, they have left us watching bills a bit more closely. Those guys who have renewed, although I am not able to thank you personally always, please allow this post to do that.
I greatly appreciate your faith in the forum, and I'll continue to try and add extra value.

On that note, suggestions here on how I can improve things or add features that you would consider "value added" and would assist with membership or support, are very welcome here.
Please feel free to think of things that you would consider of value or helpful.
I don't want to start making sections access controlled, I believe most of our current content should be free. But perhaps there are features that you would like to see, or ones that could be of worth.
I am considering a section for shoshin mei...like a library of genuine swords. Would take a ton of work and require help with additions. Other than that, any fundraising ideas would be appreciated.

Again, thanks to those who support us in any way, and now that we are well into December, I wish you all a wonderful Festive Season, and I'll be here through December.
Hope to see some of you at the Vegas sword show, but I still have a lot of saving up to do.

Hi all,

I am not a collector of Japanese swords (have 4 swords though, maybe i do collect them) but I  have been  happy to pay the Gold membership for last few years as it is just a small token of appreciation for the knowledge this forum has shared with me. 

So for anyone who has ever given me information on one of my intended or made purchases my gold membership is for you  (but Brian gets the money ) 

Keep well and I will pay up again next time contribution time comes around as I have acquired a nice tanto on the back of you guys giving me freely invaluable information since my last payment.

The response time you guys give would make user support in any other walk of live blush.
