Rich T Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 Hi all, does anyone have an example of a mei by the 6th gen Yasutsugu ( 康継 ) ? Cheers Rich Quote
Henry Wilson Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Hi Richard I think there is an example on p295 of Fujishiro shinto. Page 295YASUTSUGU EDO ROKUDAI [GENBUN 1736 MUSASHI] SHINTÔ CHÛSAKU He was called Ippachi Mototsugu, and this was changed to Ichinojô Yasutsugu in the winter of Kyôhô Jûkyûnen (1734). There are very few works of Yasutsugu from the godai to the tenth generation. Signature: YASUTSUGU The AOI MON is inscribed. Quote

Ichi Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Hi Rich, I don't know how to attach a pic on this new NMB format, so I am emailing the mei which was scanned from Touken Youran Yasutsugu 六代目. Hope this will be helpful. All the best, Ichi Quote
