Ebay sword question?

I was wondering if someone could tell me what this sword might be worth? Would it be worth buying?

I would like to buy it just to mess around w/ it, i.e trying different polishing techniques.

Not to be rude, but to answer your questions honestly...

Is it worth buying?...No

What is it worth...Not much, and certainly not worth what it will inevitably go for.

Should I polish it?..Here on the NMB it is a policy never to advocate someone doing their own non-professional polishing, so the answer is no. Kissaki is badly shaped and ground, so maybe the hamon runs off. In that case, you have nothing to lose I guess, excpet money.

Low class stuff like this sells on eBay, usually for a few $100

Better to save your money for something better, although few do.

Thank you for you reply. I have a good feeling someone "dumb" will have it past $100 so I wont even bother. I will just save my money for something in good polish. Thanks again..
