Got to see Nobuo Fujita's sword

Recommended Posts

Visiting the southern Oregon coast on my honeymoon, and stopped in Brookings to view this sword.

Really interesting bit of World War Two history, that I’ve always wanted to see in-person. It’s in a big plastic case in a library, so it was challenging to get a good photo. I wish I could see the nakago

Heres a link with some of the history:

Hope you enjoy!
Cheers,

-Sam

Hi Sam,

Thanks for sharing the image and story.

Congratulations on finding a partner who lets you look at swords on a honeymoon, probably more difficult than taking off from a float plane assembled on a  submarine deck and making  your way back, Impressive!!

Regards and happy honeymoon to you both,

Ken
