Here is a "gassan Sadakazu" tanto being sold by Komonjo.

As you might expect, the kao in particular looks much different than other examples I have seen. But could it be legit??

Nothing about it is "right", not the mei, not the kao, not the date, not the details.

I keep receiving links to this one in direct communication from people who saw the auction and are excited. Komonjo knows what he is selling, and knows enough not to sell an authentic Sadakazu at a fire sale price at auction.

Do you all mean it's not a real Gassan Sadakazu for under 200 bucks? Golly, I thought he screwed up and sold an actual legitimate item.
