jeremy Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Hi guys, I am thinking about buying a sword from Token Sugita from the Netherlands, and wanted to know if anyone on this forum has dealt with them before, and how they find their service and products? Are they a reputable sword dealer? Any information about them would be appreciated. Kind regards, Jeremy Hagop Quote

Tavroch Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Hello Jeremy, I talked to Lody Duindam at an antique armes fair a year ago, and admired his merchandise. He's also connected to the Dutch Token Society. He's the initiator of the Namban-tetsu Project. I think he knows his Japanese swords. Quote
jeremy Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 Thanks guys. I feel better knowing others have had good experiences with Lody. Kind regards, Jeremy Hagop Quote
myochin Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 I have been in contact with Lody, very friendly and helpful. I also purchased a book from him, excellent service. If you read his article "Namban project" you can see that he is a very serious person. Not much to go by but I think it reflect his personality. Paul. Quote
