paul tsubadotinfo Posted August 27, 2023 Report Posted August 27, 2023 Hello Nihonto and Kodogu enthusiasts! My name is Paul Kremers and I am a licensed antiques and sword dealer in Japan. I have started www.Tsuba.info about 3 years ago with the goal of providing high quality pictures of high quality Tsuba for all of us to have good reference material available on the go. As my father has been collecting Tsuba for over 40 years I had been in the lucky position to be able to see very good items right from the beginning and I got accustomed to it. Due to his large collection of iron Sukashi Tsuba I was lucky to learn about really good iron patina early and I realized that it is one of the most difficult parts of Tsuba appreciation. You can find a large collection of Tsuba under www.Tsuba.info/schools. Also check out the subsections about Owari, HIgo or Goto for example. As I myself am quite fond of the Goto school, I am trying to publish more and more high quality items by the mainline masters. Apart from Kodogu and Nihonto I offer a wide range of services such as certification through the NBTHK in Tokyo or sword import and export to and from Japan. And yes, also Yahoo auctions proxy bidding if you feel like going on an online treasure hunt! Feel free to contact me at contact@tsuba.info 2 5 Quote
