Tsuba, signed Bushū-jū Masatoshi - Excellent condition

 

Iron, round shape with image of plums in sukashi and inlays of gold. The plum blossom blooms in late winter, and brings to mind the coming spring. Bushū school, end of Edo era.

The work is classic Bushū work. Tsuba has great patina, and appears in excellent condition.
