I read the two characters on the left as Marunaga (I may well be wrong) but I have no idea what the rest is, this is the only picture I have… any information is most welcome.

I think its trying to be 光長 (Mitsunaga) with some strokes missing, which is strange.

But 丸長 would be even stranger, and would be missing the left horozontal stroke.

The other inscription is 春日大神 (Kasuga-no-ōkami), the name of a Shintō god.

That's all I've got for you, unless you can come up with pictures of the sword itself. It's always tricky to say anything about a sword from just the inscription, as there are many fakes out there.
