Showa 17 (1942)

Looks a little like Kanesuke but I am NOT a translator so I'm probably wrong on that.

Appears to have a civilian gunzoku tsuba.

Again, without a star stamp, it's a standard showa-to.

Huh, it did say that "Ubu nakago with one hole signed Kanenobu." It is a civilian blade also. Might consider getting it.

It depends on what you mean by civilian, as John says this is a Showato and it seems rather a lot of money for what it is.

Need to clarify what you mean by a 'good' sword and what you want to collect. Be aware that this is a showato, a different kettle of fish to traditional nihonto.

 

The mei looks like Kaneharu 兼治 rather than Kanenobu
