So recently I found a seller selling an Inro Ojime Meiji period netsuke Teppo with what seems to be A kamon with a Five claws motif with a horizontal line in the middle in gold damascene. Can anyone expound on the meaning of this Mon, as I wasn't able to find any prior information in my research. I appreciate this forum's time and effort.

Without making any other comments on a person’s merchandise, may I say that if you are interested in Kamon/Mon in general, look for Ichi or Hitotsu hikiryō, in a mokko surround.

木瓜に一つ引き両

Mokko ni Hitotsu Hikiryo

(Actually I am not sure if such a Mon existed.)
