Wakayama - Toso Kodogu Koza value?

I know these just don't turn up for sale very often. Wondering if anyone is able to give a rough value on what the whole set would retail for, the deluxe version with leather(ette) covers, minty.
I assume over $1000 if you can find them?

I've been advised that my estimate is high. Going to do some thinking and research before proceeding. Not mine, part of the stuff I am selling for the owner, and may deliver them to the SF show.
They were purchased for around $1200 many years back from Bridge of Dreams, and are mint I think.
No rush, let's see what is a fair price for a buyer. Maybe we can deliver them to the SF show for free. They are almost 12kg, so quite a set of books!
Years ago Ford Hallam told me THESE are the books to own if you collect tosogu. I always craved a set myself, but they are out of my budget unfortunately.

Hi Brian , i purchased a set in Japan about three years ago for thirty or forty thousand yen . These were from a sword book dealer so that price is about the market price.

This is a useful set, and there is an index or table of contents translation floating around.   I think the pieces in Wakayama's kodogu 3 volume mei set (several of which have popped up lately on YJ, FWIW) is cross referenced to these too (or was it the other way around - too early in the morning (for me) to recall right now)

The 3 volume set has an English index floating around. Haven't see anything for the 8 Volume.

There is an index for the 8 volume set as well. However I don't know if it's a publicly available one.

It was done as a NMB appreciation and fund raiser many years ago. I'm sure it's fine to share it. Huge thanks to the pair who did it.
