Emura on eBay

There is an Emura on eBay and I was wondering your opinion. At first when viewing the blade itself, it looks pretty close. Then the mei threw me. Definitely not the "traditional" Emura mei, but after some research, it seems possible. What is your opinion?

There is another Emura on ebay. Don't recall the item number, but

the seller is "nihontophile". I know this sword and it's 100% legit.

I'm not the seller.

I saw that one too. This is more to satisfy my curiosity if I happen to come across one at the MAX Show in October.

Hi Guys,

 

Nihontophile was Ron Polansky from Texas,USA.

His website was http://www.nihontophile.com but it is no longer available.

He sometimes sold pieces to up his collection, then started selling for others with Pat O'Toole ?

I have bought items from him before and yes he is trustworthy

 

Not sure if this is the same person now, so caveat emptor.

 

PS The Omi Daijo Tadahiro that was being discussed a month back is gimei.
