Bugyotsuji Posted June 1, 2023 Report Posted June 1, 2023 A friend has a wonderful blade by 'Henmi Toyo', as he was also known. Genius of his time. If it goes for that price, it will be cheap. 1 Quote
Shuko Posted June 1, 2023 Report Posted June 1, 2023 I have one katana that has a 65.2 nagasa, 0.84 motokasane, 4.00 motohaba and bare blade weight of 1.3 kg. Finding koshirae that fits this heavy katana is an ongoing challenge. Was made by Takafusa from Oita Province in WW2. Hawley reference: TAK156 The above mentioned shrine sword is staggeringly big.
