This is an iron tsuba depicting a bird’s-eye view of a lake/inlet and some buildings.  I’m wondering what school this might be or any information at all really.  Looks like it might have been mounted on at least a couple different blades in it’s hay day.  It has a nice two-tone patina when it’s in the right light and/or angle, which is what attracted me to it in the first place.

Nice one!

That appears to be a semi common theme. I don't know what story it tells, but the similar Tsuba with the same theme always appear to have two buildings with a water body to the left, and a prominent tree behind. Some have bamboo or palms also. Here is another example

For sure!

I haven't tried any of the chatgtp (or whatever it's called) but I was thinking last night it might be fun to see how that program goes in finding theme meanings by description
