Here’s a look at my latest Tsuba Stand this time my take on ‘Oni done in katakirbori style I wanted this to look old iron.

 

The back of the stand now has a different profile to reflect the curve of a Katana blade with the Hamon Midare/Gunome wavy shape

carved in.

The front of this stand has a flat profile with the Nakago-ana mount higher and deeper so a broader range

of shape and sizes of Tsuba can be displayed.
