Japan lost to USA at 13th World Kendo Championship

For the first time in the WKC history, the Japanese national kendo team failed to win the men's team competition.

 

On 10 Dec, Japan lost to US in the semi finals 3 to 2 and failed to advance further. In the final team match, Korea defeated US 2 to 0.

 

Anyone who's interested in watching, the Kendo World website has a video of the entire USA - Japan semifinal and USA- Korea final (see

below link). The vid is a bit grainy but still exciting.
