Sword Translation request

That's a Spring 1944 Mantetsu!  Please, Please, Please (did I say please?) - give us full photos of both side of the nakago (tang) with a shot of the full serial number on the back edge.  A shot of the fittings would be nice to.

A "Nan" stamped Mantetsu dated Spring 1944, serial # MO 318.

Fittings are marked 700 and it has that file mark indicator on the mune as well. Nice example.

Thank You all for the assistance, I'm still trying to digest all the supplied info on this sword. Can anyone give me an idea of what I should insure this for? I have no idea of insurance value.

The market is wonky right now, but they are running from $1,800 to 2,400 right now.  Before COVID, they were selling for $3,600.
