Hello fellow NMB members.

This post is a general plea to all would-be sellers.

Please follow through with your agreements.  A seller will want to be promptly paid as agreed and the buyer deserves the same respect and to not be left waiting for weeks with the seller holding all the payment without delivery.

Please notify the buyer if you are out of the country or away from your residence and will have a delay in mailing your item.  Please do this BEFORE you tell the buyer that it is fine to send the final payment.

Please, before you post something for sale, be sure that it is yours and yours alone to sell and will not come up as a dispute between you and your partner or spouse.

Please be sure you are actually willing to let go of the item for the amount you post.

Please do not try to renegotiate the sale price after you have made an agreement and please, absolutely do not attempt to renegotiate after you have received full payment.  At that point you are holding the buyer hostage and it is quite dishonorable.

Please do not spend the money you received as payment until you have mailed the item that you sold.  This is so that if you do change your mind about following through on your business deal, you can return all of the money at once.

Please, if you say you are going to do something at a particular time, do it and do not wait to be prompted after the fact by the buyer who is left waiting and wondering.  Your personal life is aside from a business deal and the two should not cross or be made to become the buyer’s problem.  The seller would not accept this behavior from the buyer.  It is a two way street.

These are all experiences I endured over the last 9 weeks when attempting to buy a wakizashi from @NewB.  He did eventually pay me back in full.  However, I absolutely do not consider this a “no harm, no foul” experience.

Thanks for reading.

We dropped the ball on this one. You didn't care about our dissatisfaction with what happened. Not my call on this one in particular.

Earthquakes are unpredictable. Family stays above all wakizashi and commitments in the World. That's my philosophy!

also, Nobody tried to renegotiate - nobody asked you for more money. The refund got delayed because of another payment plan buyer such as tourself, so - pay in full to get it right away. Last, to wait to get your money just to go on and write this makes you nothing but a back stabber. I'm guessing you were afraid that you weren't going to get your funds back and thats why you're writing it now? Drama...

BTW - We've sold blades for over 70k to folks all over the World just in the last year so one hiccup isn't that bad. Folks put deposits and back away all day long, it's the nature of the beast.

In any event - you've been refunded and to me it is a no foul no harm. I did the best I can to help my family at a time when 50000 people lost their lives in one of the most devastating earthquakes so to hell with your whining.

There are many Sukesada out there - I wish you success.

Thank you for your voted trust and we wish you well with your future endeavors

You seem to have issues. Not someone to do business with, and I'm not surprised at all to see this thread.

How come you didn't post the threat you replied back with?

Then yes, I do have issues when you and you buddy Swords clearly have no clue about nihonto but yet you have big mouths to argue with folks that know waaaaaay more than you.

Last, how's this relevant ?

Kids need to stay in their lane..

@NewB Everything I said was factual. I don’t care about your other deals.  If you had so many deals you wouldn’t have been desperate to get my $2,075 and take so long to pay it back.  I honestly don’t believe a word out of you. I am only posting what happened to me. You have nothing but excuses.

It’s funny that you say you did not try to renegotiate. I guess I will post screenshots of our conversation to keep it real.

The "threat" I'm assuming you're talking about is there. I honestly thought you were trying to get into an argument with the wrong guy(i.e. me)

Never once argued with you over anything, never once talked to this "swords" fellow. You seem to be an unstable person with a Napoleon complex.

That is my relevance to this thread and to Rematrons post. I honestly thought you were a teenager living with your parents. To find out you are a dealer is quite shocking. You do not seem like someone worth dealing with. That's all I have to say.

Sounds like an apology and a promise to do better might help with future business.

We did that. He did not accept it. What else could we do?

@NewB, also you’re damn right I waited to post this until I got my money back.  How is that back-stabbing?  We are not friends.  We were in a business arrangement which you fumbled spectacularly.

You did not apologize. At this rate I’m gonna end up posting our entire conversation.

I know I'm right. Lots of angry cowards out there.. but im not mad. We screwed up, what else ? A handkerchief?

the business arrangement fell through, it's Over! You can revenge by trying to defame us - that will not change anything for us. It is what it is

Lol

You might want to reread your messages. I tried to pardon myself for someone else's actions. That's balls buddy. I hope you understand what that means

Are these the ‘apologies’?

“It is my bad…” : not an apology.

“Pardon the hellish experience.” : not an apology.

And now you are accusing me of whining about my money (it’s not the money, it’s being played for 9 weeks) because it’s small change compared to your $70,000 deals?

This means you don’t respect me and never did.

I’m not trying to change anything. I’m posting my bad experience with you as a seller.  When I have a good experience with a seller, I praise them.

You’re really not taking my constructive criticism well.

Look, everything that had to be said is said. I offered you everything I could within my power to remedy the situation including big discount if you have an interest in My blades. What did you say?

They'll be tamed with my memory?? Really?

.. so, since you've closed all options to make it good by you what else can we do?

P.S. Constructive criticism is always welcome. Nobody is perfect! It's how you proceed forward is what makes the difference. Clearly your intentions were to revenge for the failed agreement. Okay, you win.
