Hi Jacques,

I have only seen two ko-Bizen blades in hand and nether looked anything like this one. I have to say that from the images there are many calls I would make before considering ko-Bizen. Maybe there is something more telling with the sword in hand, but the shape, the depth of hamon and shape of hamon do seem unusual (at least to me)

similar, yes, I believe the sword I'm thinking of was a later generation Sukekane. The kissaki, boshi, and slight tiredness on this one suggest late and not early Ko Bizen imho. Shape, jigane, and what little can be seen of the hamon activity all look OK from the images. Also, if memory serves only 3 O-suriage Ko Bizen wakizashi have ever passed Juyo, which makes submitting this one kind of a real long shot it would seem.
