Toukenan Posted April 7, 2023 Report Posted April 7, 2023 Kunihiro was born in Hyuga Province (Miyazaki Prefecture), and later became a swordsmith who continued to make swords while wandering around Japan in training as a Yamabushi. Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, who is said to have made the sword at Ashikaga School in Shimotsuke Province (Tochigi Prefecture), is very famous as a representative work. Among his disciples were master craftsmen such as Dewa-daijo Kunimichi, Izumi-no-kami Kunisada, and Kawachi-no-kami Kunisuke, and the Horikawa school prospered greatly. The highlight is that it is a style with a special shape called "Osoraku zukuri". The Jihada clearly shows the characteristics of Kunihiro Horikawa, so please enjoy watching it! 4 Quote
