Hi guys,

This sword came to my collection. 

Unfortunately no maker mark on nakago.  I would like to know the age of the blade.

 

Blade size:

nakago 22 cm

sori 1 cm

kissaki 2,5 cm

nagasa 67,7 cm

Interesting blade Zoltan.  My VERY weak and poor knowledge about the straighter blades is that they harken back to or from several hundred years ago.  It will help the guys give you an evaluation if you can provide these measurements:

A good close-up of a section of the blade showing the hamon and hada - temper pattern and steel skin texture - would help.
