Thank you 

virtually every sword that I've posted here except this one is part of my collection.  .. . .Fakes get returned.  I have had 2 fakes and they went back home..  in the future I may post questionable ones prior to acquiring them as a method to avoid getting stuck with one

That's the right idea.

 

To add to everyone else's points - stamped numbers on habaki are almost always a sign of Chinese fakery.  There are a few, very few, Chinese railway swords with numbered habaki.  But add stamped habaki to Damascus steel and your already full into fakery.
