Bruce Pennington Posted March 4, 2023 Report Posted March 4, 2023 Ed, The large seki stamp is seen on blades from 1940-1945, but the massive majority of them are in 1942. What type of fittings? 4 of the 9 I have on file are in kaigunto fittings. Quote
robinalexander Posted March 4, 2023 Report Posted March 4, 2023 Eds, MASAHIRO Hatori made Low to medium grade Showato and Medium Grade Gendaito (Sloughs) ..but for my money, with a Seki inspection stamp and what I think are darker patches under the harmon peaks (see top of picture) (oil quench), I am going for non-traditional.
