I found my files with 4, now, examples of this stamp.

 

Thanks to @dynnis and his post HERE.

 

The predominant opinion is that these are Chinese fakes.  After finding my file on them, I now agree wholeheartedly.  They are interesting in that, of the 4, 2 are in Type 94 fittings and 2 are in Type 98 fittings and the 2 that I can see, have stamped numbers on the habaki.  They all have different smith names with the same crappy writing and different stamped numbers (so far: 3, 11, 14, and 32).

The blade tips have the proper Japanese styled curve, rather than the easily recognizable angled tip, but the nakago are poorly made.  What settled it for me was in finding the number 32 blade made of Damascus steel.  I have never heard of Damascus steel use, in China, during WWII:

Little slow on the uptake yesterday, but correction duly noted and the revised Japanese pronunciation is below.  The name could also be Chinese as it yields more hits via an Internet search.  As always, thanks for the correction and help Trystan.

古成勇 = Furunari Isamu.

You are right Thoms, talking about the Family name, the Chinese use 古 as well.
