WW2 Era Swords

I need some help I do not know what I have. I do know that my grandfather brought them back from the war and they have been in his possession ever since. Cleaning out the attic and found them.

The one on the right is a metal sheath with bullet damage and a makeshift wire repair. One on right has a decorative ivory/bone handle, the blade is good and sandwiched between two

bamboo. I am in the Richmond Virginia area and would appreciate any help or insight

Welcome Chris to the forum.  As indicated above, the sword with the aluminium handle is a Type 95.  Below is a link to get you started on the basics.

IJA Type 95 NCO Sword Info

Your Type 95 should have a number on the blade above the crossguard and on the scabbard mouth where the blade is inserted.  Take a picture of these numbers and post them to the thread.  It is likely the maker can be determined via these numbers.
