Age of a Yoshimitsu blade

I was wondering if anyone could give an approximation of the age of this blade.

Need more photos. At a quick glance, to me it appears to be, Late Muromachi or early Shinto.

David, is there anything specific I should try to address in the photos?

To determine age, the folks here will need to look at the sugata, or overall shape. Another picture looking down onto the edge of the entire blade would help. Also the full nakago (tang) (make sure the end can be seen clearly). The kissaki (tip), the hamachi (where the blade edge meets the tang), and any good pictures of the hamon (to determine style).

It's quite an art determining the age (period or era) of a blade, however there are some folks here that are pretty good at it (I an NOT among them!)

Well, with limited pics and using process of elimination. Sugata lacks uchi-zori so not an early blade. I agree with David probably more likely Shinto or late Muromachi just a guess with limited pics and info. The mei Yoshimitsu prob Gimei or one of many other generations or smiths.
