Yahoo Japan auction shipping concerns

Hey guys, I see a lot of individuals using the aforementioned site but whenever I want to ship something, the shipping service Buyee, restricts “weapons” from being sent outside of Japan. How do I get around this or is there another provider!?! This applies to about any sword I view and is VERY discouraging as the militaria im into is much cheaper over there.

Exporting a weapon out of Japan is a long and tedious process Buyee doesn't want to be involved in hence the restrictions you're encountering.

 

The usual solution is to use a local agent who will do the paperwork for you but this has a cost (around 20% of the item if memory serves me).
