Rye Posted December 23, 2022 Report Posted December 23, 2022 After about 93 years, Huawei has finished my Nodachi I commissioned however, I ordered it in Shirasaya, and I have given up Saya making (just discovered that I don’t really like doing it) so I’m looking for someone (preferably based in the U.S) who can make tsuka and saya for this big ol’ sword. does anyone know who can do this for me? I’ve already got all the metal fittings for it any guidance is a God send, thank you. Quote

Brian Posted December 23, 2022 Report Posted December 23, 2022 Not Nihonto (I assume you mean Hanwei, don't think Huawei makes swords?) Will leave this here in case others have some suggestions. Quote

That thing is massive. http://www.huaweiswords.com/ Quote

A word of note; the prepurchase of fittings may or may not work out. Regards, 1 Quote
